Credits
Credits are the usage currency for AI work. Every AI action costs a fixed amount, deducted when you trigger it; everything else in the app — editing, scheduling, downloading — is free and unlimited on every plan.
Your balance shows under your name at the bottom of the dashboard sidebar, next to a sparkle icon. From 1,000 up it's shortened (e.g. 1.2K credits); hover it for the exact number.
What costs credits
| Action | Cost |
|---|---|
| Each AI-generated image on a distinct template design | 2 credits |
| Each stock-library image on a distinct template design | 1 credit |
| A post generated by an automation | its quoted post price, plus 2 credits |
| Import a template from a TikTok or Instagram link (AI extraction) | 5 credits |
| AI-write a slot description from the source image (wand button) | 1 credit |
Item slides sharing a design count once. Additional item slides planned for a new post do not change the quoted price. Each generated post costs at least 1 credit.
What's free
- Chatting with the AI assistant — you only pay when a post is actually generated.
- The entire editor — unlimited posts, slides, and edits.
- Downloading posts as image ZIPs.
- Scheduling and publishing to TikTok, YouTube or Instagram (publishing needs a paid plan, because the Free plan can't connect a TikTok account, YouTube channel or Instagram account).
- Uploading your own images and browsing the libraries.
- Your own folder images on a post ("Pick from a folder" slots) — though a generated post still costs at least 1 credit.
How refills work
- Free plan — a one-time grant of 10 credits at signup; it doesn't refill.
- Paid plans — every month your balance is topped up to your plan's allowance: 300 (Starter), 650 (Spark), or 2,500 (Scale). Yearly plans are billed once a year but still top up every month, on the same day of the month as your billing date (or the last day of a shorter month).
AI chat tokens are a separate monthly allowance. They reset on the 1st of every month at 00:00 UTC on every plan, including yearly plans; you don't have to wait for your annual renewal.
Refills bring your balance up to the allowance — unused credits don't stack month over month. A Spark subscriber with 400 credits left renews to 650, not 1,050. (If your balance is somehow above the allowance, it's left untouched.)
Running out
If an action costs more than your remaining balance, it's rejected before any work starts — you'll see an "Insufficient credits" error and nothing is deducted. Partial charges never happen.
To keep creating, upgrade in Settings → Billing (Plans & pricing). Subscribing from Free tops your balance up straight away; after a switch between paid plans, the new allowance applies from your next monthly top-up. There are no one-off credit top-ups right now — plans are the way to refill.
