Generating posts
Generate Posts is the batch generation flow in every project's Playground: pick a template, tell the AI what the posts are about, and it produces complete carousels — copy written, images matched or generated, everything editable afterward.
Running a generation
- Open your project's Playground tab and click Generate Posts.
- Under Choose a template, click the dashed button and pick a template from the dialog — the right side shows a live slide-by-slide preview. (No templates yet? Create one first — see Templates.)
- Optionally tick **Feature *your brand*** to place your brand in the posts, using the name, description and image from the project's Overview tab. If the template features your product, it is ticked and locked. See Project overview.
- Enter your topic. With your brand featured the topic becomes optional — the brand's info drives the content.
- Set Number of Posts (1–10) and click Generate.
The modal closes immediately and a placeholder post appears in your post list, right where the finished post will land, showing its progress (Generating text → Finding images). You can keep editing while it runs. When it finishes, the real post takes the placeholder's place.
A post usually takes a minute or two to generate; one whose template has several AI images can take three or four minutes.
What it costs
Generation is priced from the template’s distinct designs — 2 credits for each AI-generated image and 1 credit for each stock image on those designs, minimum 1. Item slides that share a design count once, and extra item slides planned for your post do not change the quoted price. The exact cost is shown on the button before you run it. If your balance is too low the run won't start — see Credits for how balances and refills work.
Where results come from
For each post, the AI:
- writes fresh text for every non-static text layer in the template, following each layer's description and style;
- fills every image — by semantic search over the stock library (Stock photo images), by generating a new image (AI image images, optionally using your brand image as the visual reference), or by drawing a random image from one of your My images folders (My folder images);
- keeps anything set to Same image every post / Same every post, and every slide marked Keep unchanged, exactly as designed.
Templates show complete example posts. The AI plans the new sequence from your request: a “Top 5” example can become “Top 6” with an extra item slide. It checks the item count before creating images and keeps fixed slides and designated brand promotions from being duplicated.
Other ways to generate
- From chat — the AI chat assistant runs the same pipeline one post at a time, with template suggestions built in.
- Use as Template — clicking Use as Template on any template card (Templates page or Home) jumps you into a project with the Create Posts modal open and that template pre-selected.
- Automations — generate and publish on a schedule without you in the loop. See Automations.
Failed generations show a red Generation failed card with the reason. If a run fails and you believe credits were deducted, contact us and we'll sort it out.
