The editor

The Playground is a Figma-style canvas inside each project. Every card on it is one post (a carousel of up to 10 slides) that you can edit slide by slide, download as images, or publish to TikTok, YouTube or Instagram.

Creating a post

  • Generate Posts (header button) — AI-generate posts from a template. See Generating posts.
  • From scratch (header button) — adds a blank post ("Post N") with one white slide.
  • The empty-canvas composer — a brand-new project shows "What will you create next?" with a prompt box; submitting sends your prompt to the AI chat, and the generated posts land on this canvas.

Working with slides

Each post card shows its slides left to right, with the post name and a slide count in the header.

  • Add a slide — click the dashed Add slide placeholder after the last slide. Posts cap at 10 slides (the placeholder disappears at the limit).
  • Delete a slide — hover a slide and click its trash button. The last remaining slide can't be deleted (delete the whole post instead).
  • Add elements — hover a slide and click + → Add image or Add text.
  • Full-screen image — right-click (or long-press) an empty part of a slide and choose Add full-screen image. It fills the slide edge to edge, sits under everything else, and is an ordinary image from then on: select it, Update image to swap the photo, or delete it.
  • Post menu — the ⋮ button on the card header has Download, Remix (opens Create Posts on the template and topic the post was made from), Edit with Chat (opens the AI chat with the post attached, to change it by describing the change), Direct Post (pick the linked account to publish to now), Schedule Post (pick the account and a date and time for it to go out; see Schedule a post), and Delete. A scheduled post shows a blue Scheduled badge on its card until it goes out; click it to open the calendar.

Select a slide by clicking its number above it (or an empty part of the slide); select the whole post by clicking the card title. A full-screen image covers the whole slide, so clicking the slide selects the image.

Editing elements

Click any text or image element to select it — handles appear for resize and rotation.

  • Move — drag. Red dashed guides snap edges and centers against the slide and neighboring elements, with pixel-distance labels for even spacing.
  • Multi-select — Shift+click adds elements to the selection, even across slides and posts. Edits in the properties panel apply to everything selected.
  • Resize — drag the handles. Hold Shift on an image for aspect-locked scaling. Resizing text scales its font size.
  • Edit text — double-click a text element and type. Enter commits, Shift+Enter adds a line break, Escape cancels.
  • Right-click any element for Duplicate, Lock/Unlock, layer ordering (Bring to Front, Bring Forward, Send Backward, Send to Back), and Delete.

Locked elements can't be moved, edited, or deleted until unlocked.

The properties panel

Selecting something opens the panel on the right:

  • Slide selected — change the aspect Ratio (16:9, 9:16, 4:5, 3:4, 1:1 — the pixel size shows underneath), set a Background Color (solid hex or a CSS gradient), or Add Image / Add Text.
  • Text selected — apply a Text Style preset (TikTok: bold white with a black outline; TikTok Pill: white on a green pill background), then fine-tune text, font (6 system + 22 Google fonts), size (8–200), style, color, pill color, alignment, position, rotation, and stroke.
  • Image selected — size, position, rotation, and an opacity slider.

Adding images

Add Image opens a two-tab picker:

  • Stock Library — the app's curated image library with semantic search (try "cozy tea" or "woman running"). Full access is included in every paid plan; the Free plan previews the first 5 images. See Image library.
  • My Images — your private uploads. Click Upload to add PNG, JPEG, WebP, or HEIC files up to 10 MB (iPhone HEIC photos are converted automatically).

Picked images are inserted centered, scaled to fit the slide.

Keyboard shortcuts

ShortcutAction
⌘/Ctrl + ZUndo (50 steps)
⌘/Ctrl + Shift + Z or ⌘/Ctrl + YRedo
Arrow keys / Shift + ArrowNudge selection 1 px / 10 px
⌘/Ctrl + C, ⌘/Ctrl + VCopy the selected slide / paste it into the selected post
⌘/Ctrl + DDuplicate the selected slide
Delete / BackspaceDelete selection (elements, slide, or post)
EscapeDeselect everything
⌘/Ctrl + = / ⌘/Ctrl + −Zoom in / out

Copy/paste works on whole slides within the app (it doesn't use the system clipboard).

Autosave and sync

There is no save button. The header indicator cycles Unsaved changes → Saving… → Saved:

  • Work saves to your browser every 2 seconds — you can lose connection mid-edit and keep working.
  • Everything syncs to the cloud every 60 seconds (and within about half a second after big actions like generating or adding a post).
  • Closing the tab flushes pending changes; any leftovers sync on your next visit. Opening a project on a new device pulls the latest from the cloud.

Downloading a post

  1. Click the post's ⋮ menu → Download.
  2. The button reads Saving… while slides render, then your browser downloads <Post_Name>.zip containing image_1.jpg, image_2.jpg, …

Exports render at 1.5× resolution (a 1080×1350 slide exports at 1620×2025) and are pixel-identical to the canvas. Downloading is free.

To publish directly instead, see Post to TikTok, Post to YouTube or Post to Instagram.
